One continuous climb from sea level to the forest edge, following the river the whole way. We pass waterfalls, old industrial buildings, street art and quiet green corridors most visitors never see. Mostly gravel and paved path with a steady, gentle gradient. A good choice if you want distance without technical terrain.
Route highlights
- Start at the fjord, finish at the forest edge
- Waterfalls and the old mills along Akerselva
- Grünerløkka street art and riverside cafés
- Public transport back to the centre included in the briefing
Meeting point
Vaterland bridge, by the river
Start and finish points can always be requested — for example pickup at your central Oslo hotel or meeting venue. The meeting point listed is our suggestion.
